Football Association of Penang League 2012

I’m please to announced that the new 2012 FAP League will start soon, in january 2012. The good news is Ramblers Sport Club is in Division 2.
Ramblers SC secretary has appointed me a the person in charge of the team. I will call for players who’s interested to play for Ramblers in DIv.2 to come for trail. The date will be announce very soon. Nobody walk staright into the team.
I’ll announce the name of the coach and his assistant will choose the players.
We’ll only choose 18 good, dedicated and skilful players and our target is to try to win promotion in the first season.

Saturday.

Why Saturday ? Saturday to some is just another day, to some is a holiday, to some is work day and to some is a half working day. But what I meant is this Saturday, 20th. August 2011 ! On this day, some will watch history, some will think history but us, CCFC will make history ! All we need to do is win the game and we’re making history ! What history ? If we win, we’re the first team to lift the trophy, to many of our players , this is our major football prize . It doesn’t matter if thisis a non league tournament but playing against those team is still tough. Some have been playing in the official Chinese league, FAP league even M League so playing 15 games and being champion is still something special.
For me, it’s beeen 3 years since I’m managing this team, the first season is a disaster. The second we played well but the organiser run away with the cup and this year, we’re the best !
Come Saturday, we’ll celebrate what we’ve been chasing since we started to play football. Glory ! Glory ! Glory !

One more game !

We’re on top of the table now ! Wow, what a feeling. We beat De Shanghai last Sunday 3-2 but not after they gave us a fight and nearly gave me a heart-attack.

We started really well,  2 quick goals and we’re seems to be on the way to a comfortable win but when we had Max injured it change the course of the game. CCFC suddenly don’t know how to play football ! Even when the opponent were reduced to 10 men, we still unable to break them down.

We make 2 mistake and they drew level by half time. Then onwards, I forget how to shoot photos for the game. The opponent kept on attacking us and we’re reduced to clearing the ball blindly. Then when we thought that the game ‘s going for a draw, our pilot, Jerome took a sjot from outside the penalty box and it went straight passes the goalkeeper.

Suddenly everyone celebrate, jumping , screaming and all in joy. We’re only one game away from being the Champion. Saturday, we’ll play Black Horse for the championship.

13th. Game !

THe 13th. Game, we beat Chung Ling 1 nil, thanks to Ming. The game against PG Galaxy was now consider us winning 3 nil.
We’re now 2nd. in the table with 2 games left. We must win our last 2 games against Black Horse and De Shang and hope TYT drop some points.
If they draw any of their last 2 games then we’ll be the champion but if if they win then we have ourselves to blame. We should not have lost to RSFC and Chivas. Those loses will come back and haunt us .
The other this is that until now we have the most wins , 10 win and the 2nd best defence. We only let in 7 goals.

Team Manager’s Meeting.

Yesterday I was invited to attend a ad-hoc meeting regarding the withdrawing of Team Penang Galaxy from the tournament.

There are some quarters that are not happy because the organiser just deleted those games played. That is why we have that meeting. In the end , the decision is to restore those results and those games that haven’t play, including us, will get a 3-0 win.

Anyway it doesn’t effect us and we’re still one point behind TYT and Chivas.

The game against Chung Ling this Sunday has been rescheduled to 5.30 pm . I’m not sure if it’s good or bad news as Penang Chinese has a friendly game on that same day. Whatever it is, we’ll see what happened on Sunday.

Looking forward for our Sunday’s game and hope to get the 3 points and as usual the best is TYT and Chivas drops some points.  Finger cross.

Champions ?

The league has gone to 12 games/weeks and we have an off day because Penang Galaxy can’t play on Sunday. We’re third in the league, 24 points , 4 points behind Chivas witch was due to play RSFC at 4.00 pm Sunday and 4 points behind TYT which won on Saturday . We’re comfortable because we still have a game in hand and the top 2 teams will drop points, I’m sure.

Then later I received the first good news, Chivas was defeated by RSFC 1 nil. That means they stay 4 points in front of us and we have a game in hand.

The second good news came minutes later, PG Galaxy has drop out from the league and those who played them suddenly found themself deducted 3 points if they won and doesn’t loose if they lost.

Suddenly, we’re a genuine Championship Contender ! The table now stand as TYT and Chivas 25 points and CCFC 24 points. The best part is, TYT and Chivas was schedule to meet on the last game. On top of that Chivas has yet to play MRC A and Anak Malaysia which still have to fight for the top 8 berth.

What CCFC need to do now is win our 3 remaining games against Chung Ling, De Shang and Black Horse. TYT and Chivas if draw then we’ll go top if one of them win then it depend on their 2 last games.

I don’t want to speculate but as long as we win our last 3 games then we stand a very good chance to be the Champion.
